For the last five and a half years, Carol May has been efficiently demonstrating her confidence and ability to manage and run her own booth rental space. She has been in the beauty industry for eight years and has an extensive knowledge of hair. "I love my work and tremendously enjoy making people feel beautiful and confident as they leave my salon" explains Carol.

She is currently employed at Studio 210, in Orem Utah, where she rents a room in which she is responsible for the operation and organization of clientele, retail sales, inventory, apprenticeship, and working space. Carol has also taught at several of the local beauty schools such as  Dallas Roberts, Joseph Patrick, Bon Losee, and Paul Mitchell.  She has taught an array of classes from hair, fashion, business, make up, and hair extensions. Carol currently teaches at Paul Mitchell School part time, along with her full time work in the salon.

Carol also enjoys teaching and helping others fulfill their dreams as well.  She offers the opportunity to instruct one-on-one as part of an apprenticeship program.  She has graduated several students in the last four years.  Prior to working at Studio 210, Carol joined a united team at Element Salon where she worked for almost four years. She attended many classes that range from business classes to specialized hair classes and attended and completed the Redken Specialist classes.  She has also  attended seminars taught by Debbie Miller, a Redken Mentor and Consultant.  "I have not only benefited through my expanding and growing career in the beauty industry, but also by my skills through previous employment and experience in leadership, customer service, organization, creativity, and professionalism." 

Carol has also completed her education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing. Her business knowledge, along with the desire to become a creative hair designer, made it easy and attainable for her to excel in her pursuits while in beauty school. Carol May has accomplished a lot and has had many opportunities to instruct and teach classes to high school students about beauty and self esteem. She has also had the chance to do make up for plays and musicals, along with assisting at two different high-end salons, all while in school.
